Ultimate Chicken Hashbrown Casserole

Posted on September 6, 2026 By Olivia No Comments on Ultimate Chicken Hashbrown Casserole

Ultimate Chicken Hashbrown Casserole is pure comfort food, combining tender chicken, creamy potatoes, smoky bacon, and plenty of melted cheddar in one hearty baked dish. A buttery, crunchy topping gives every serving the perfect contrast between a creamy center and crisp golden crust.

The filling comes together easily with cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and a simple blend of savory seasonings. Thawed shredded hashbrowns soak up all that creamy goodness as they bake, while diced onion adds flavor and texture without making the casserole complicated.

Chicken makes this casserole substantial enough to serve as a complete meal, and crumbled bacon adds a smoky, salty bite throughout. Cheddar is mixed into the filling as well as sprinkled over the top, ensuring there’s plenty of gooey melted cheese in every scoop.

Finished with buttery crushed cornflakes or crackers, this family-friendly casserole is ideal for weeknight dinners, potlucks, and casual gatherings. It’s also a great way to transform leftover chicken or rotisserie chicken into an easy meal that can feed a crowd.
