Copycat Taco Bell Mexican Pizza (Way Better)

Posted on July 22, 2026July 22, 2026 By Olivia No Comments on Copycat Taco Bell Mexican Pizza (Way Better)

There’s a reason the Mexican Pizza has such a devoted fan base — crispy tortillas, seasoned beef, refried beans, and melty cheese stacked together into one irresistible handheld pizza. This homemade version delivers all that nostalgic fast-food flavor, but fresher, cheesier, and completely customizable. Once you make it at home, you may never order the drive-thru version again.

The magic is in the layers. Two crispy tortillas sandwich a savory beef and refried bean filling, then get topped with a bright layer of pizza sauce, a blanket of melted cheese, and your favorite fresh toppings like diced tomatoes, green onions, and sliced olives. Baking the tortillas until golden gives you that signature crunch in every bite, no deep fryer required.

This copycat version comes together faster than a takeout run and lets you load it up exactly how you like it — extra cheese, a kick of jalapeño, or a scoop of guacamole on the side. It’s the kind of easy, crowd-pleasing recipe that turns a regular weeknight into a mini fiesta.

Whether you’re feeding a hungry family, throwing together game-day snacks, or just craving something crispy and cheesy, these Copycat Mexican Pizzas hit the spot every time. Better than the original, and just as fun to eat.
